Getting the perfect hotel at a great price is something we all strive for. When there are beds left to fill, prices are often cut to attract last-minute deal hunters and spontaneous travellers who have the freedom and ability to visit Mendoza at the last-minute. You might not get your first choice of hotels in Mendoza, but you are likely to get more for your money. We don’t recommend you wait until the last-minute during peak seasons and when there are events taking place in Mendoza though, as it is likely that accommodation will fill up early – and you don’t want to be left without a bed!
When visiting Mendoza, there is plenty to explore – and finding a hotel near the main attractions will make this even easier. We recommend checking out hotels near Terminal de ómnibus de Mendoza, Parque General San Martín and Estadio Malvinas Argentinas, or using our map feature to find hotels near your specific points of interest.
Depending on your budget, length of stay and other factors, you might want to find an apartment or hostel in Mendoza instead of a hotel. With the Skyscanner hotel search, you can set your filters by accommodation type to find your perfect match. On the flipside, you might not want to exclude hotels in Mendoza altogether – you could get a great deal and enjoy a visit with a little more luxury!
In the heart of Argentina's wine producing region, and at the edge of the Andes. Pretty close to Mt. Aconcagua, South America's tallest peak.Great starting point for arranging hikes into the Andes, or to relax and tour one of the regions many vineyards
Not exactly Mendoza, but SAN RAFAEL, Mendoza, is one of the cities I've enjoyed the most travelling within my country. If you guys are waiting for some outdoor action, this is a must. Great rivers, views and adventure there. Located 1000 km away from Bs As.
Overlooked by the majestic Andes and the awesome Mt Aconcagua, Mendoza is best known as a major centre of viniculture - its Malbecs and Cabernet Sauvignons the toast of the chattering classes. Aside from the vineyards (wineries) there are some outstanding examples of Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired villas, reminiscent of the Kaufmann House in Palm Springs. Mendoza is also a popular starting point for the road crossing into Chile: a tortuous climb through the Andes and past Mt Aconcagua, then perilous hairpin bends all the way down as you descend into the vineyards on the outskirts of Santiago.
I have to admit: the city of Mendoza was not my real focus. I just used it as a starting point to visit the nearby Lujan de Cuyo, Maipu, and Uco Valley wine regions. The city is surrounded by vineyards, and the Andes in the distance are never far from sight.
