When to Visit Salzburg

 Because of its moderate weather, just about anytime is a great time to visit Salzburg. However, fall remains a great time to plan your trip because there are fewer tourists, great mountain scenes, and access to many attractions. December is also a great time visit their Christmas markets. Summer sees plenty of festivals, but you will have to contend with crowds. Early spring can be a bit chilly but still offers great opportunities.
