Serbia Airport and Airline Options

Serbia is home to two passenger airports. Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport (BEG) is by far the larger of the two. The airport is a hub for Serbia's flag carrier airline, Air Serbia. Lufthansa, Turkish Airlines, and Wizz Air also fly out of BEG, as well as dozens of others.

Nis Constantine the Great Airport (INI) is located about 4 km from downtown Nis. It is served by four airlines: Germania Flug, Ryanair, Swiss International Air Lines, and Wizz Air.

Arriving at the Airport

Belgrade Airport is located about 18 km from downtown Belgrade, Serbia's capital city. Taxi fares from the airport are subject to flat rates to different zones. Depending on where in the city you're going, a ride will cost between $18 and $75 CAD. Public transit busses also stop at BEG and take around a half hour to reach the Belgrade city centre. Car rental options include Avis and Thrifty.

At Nis Airport, the taxi stand can be found in the parking lot to the left of the passenger terminal. Since the airport is only a few kilometers away from Nis's city centre, taxi rides will be quick and inexpensive. There are currently no public transportation links at INI but car rental is available. Car rental options include Europcar and Hertz.
