Cheap Flights to Milos Island National Airport

Milos Island National Airport (MLO) is a small airport serving the Greek island of Milos, in the Cyclades island group. Located 5km southeast of the island's harbour, Milos Airport offers year-round flights from Athens, and seasonal flights from Thessaloniki.

The summer months of June, July, and August are the most popular time to visit due to warm water temperatures and few rainy days. It's the perfect time of year for sunbathing and laying back on the beach. However, flight and hotel prices jump during peak season, so if you're traveling on a budget, you may want to consider a trip during April, May, or September instead. Skyscanner's cheapest month search can help you narrow down the best time to fly to Milos, and you can even set up a price alert so you never miss a great deal!

Getting to Milos Airport

MLO is a very small airport with few routes. It is not a hub or focus city for any major airline. Throughout the year, you can get to the airport through Athens with Sky Express, or with Astra Airlines and Olympic Air during peak season from Thessaloniki or Athens.

There are no direct flights available from Canada to Milos. To get there, you'll have to fly to a major European city like Amsterdam (AMS), Paris (CDG), or Frankfurt (FRA), then transfer to Athens before finally reaching Milos.

Greece is a Schengen area country, which means that Canadians can visit without a visa for up to 90 days. Be sure to confirm that your passport is valid for at least 3 months longer than your trip to avoid any issues at the airport!

Milos Airport Facilities

Milos Airport is very small and can only handle one airplane at a time. As a result, there are only a few amenities inside the airport. There is an airport cafe inside the terminal as well as car rental services through AthenaTravel and Europcar. Taxis are available just outside the terminal, and a major bus station is only 100m from the airport, making public transportation easy and accessible. There is no free wi-fi within the airport, but there are some outlets available for passengers to charge their devices.
