The airport is located about 6.5 km from downtown Salt Lake City, the capital of Utah. SLC consists of three passenger terminals and is served by over a dozen airlines. Getting to Salt Lake City International Airport

As the ride from downtown Salt Lake City to Salt Lake City International Airport generally takes only 10-15 minutes by car, transportation shouldn't be much of an issue. By taxi, the ride will cost between $25 and $30 CAD. Uber and Lyft are also both permitted to drop off passengers at the airport. If you drive your own car, there are multiple parking options, including a premium option for $65 CAD per day and a long-term economy option for $12 CAD per day.

Public transportation is another, budget-friendly option for getting to SLC. The Green Line light rail service stops just south of Terminal One every 15-20 minutes, seven days a week. There are also three bus routes which stop at the airport, but service is quite limited.
