Those wishing to explore Canada's Wild West will want to check out Fort Whoop-Up. Originally known as Fort Hamilton but later adopting the nickname, it was a whiskey trading post for First Nations members and the site of various illegal activities. The famous Whoop-Up Bug Juice, an alcohol spiked with ginger, molasses, and red pepper, is colored by black chewing tobacco and boiled down to produce "firewater." It is highly prized alcohol, and it's sold here. The fort's flag was once mistaken for an American flag, leading to a raid by the North-West Mounted Police. The flag is now the city's official banner.

Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden is a small area near Henderson Lake. It was designed by Dr. Tadashi Kubo of Osaka Prefecture University in Japan. The Lethbridge Viaduct, also called the High Level Bridge, is a massive steel railroad bridge. It is the largest railroad structure in Canada and the largest bridge of its type in the world. Built between 1907 and 1909 by a 100-member crew, the bridge is still in use today. It spans the Oldman River and goes through the Crowsnest Pass route between Fort Macleod and Lethbridge.
