The most popular route is to Vancouver, although flights to Victoria and Seattle-Boeing Field are also available, while other airlines fly to smaller communities in British Columbia. Transportation Options

The airport is located about 11 km southeast of Tofino itself, right in the heart of the gorgeous Pacific Rim National Park and along the Pacific Rim Highway (Highway 4). The easiest way to get around Tofino (and indeed all of Vancouver Island) is by having your own car. A Budget Rental Car desk is located in the terminal. You should certainly consider renting a car for the duration of your visit, especially since most of the sights are outside of the town. The drive to Tofino itself from the airport takes about 20 minutes.

Terminal Information

Tofino Airport is primarily used by private aircraft and regional airlines, so the terminal is very small and doesn't offer a lot in the way of amenities. There is, however, free WiFi that you can use, a small seating area while you wait for your flight, and vending machines for a quick snack. The airport is also right next to the main access to beautiful Long Beach.

What to see and do in Tofino

Inland, you can enjoy treks through the rainforest, where you might catch a glimpse of a bald eagle, or see the area's hot springs.
