Villahermosa International Airport consists of one small passenger terminal for international and domestic passengers. The airport is not open overnight, so you'll have to head over to a Villahermosa hotel if you're catching a next-day connecting flight. The airport sits about 18 km from the city or about 20 minutes by car. Car rental service counters are available at arrivals.
If you'll be taking a taxi into the city centre, make sure you are boarding a licensed taxi. Due to the favourable exchange rate, the 20-minute taxi ride will only cost a few dollars Canadian. Unless your cab is already full, drivers may stop and pick up passengers going to similar locations along the way.

As a fairly small airport, there are only a few services available to keep you busy before your flight or on a layover.
