Three Mexican airlines currently operate out of Toluca International Airport: Interjet, TAR Aerolineas, and Volaris. Interjet and Volaris are both low-cost carriers. Arriving at Toluca International Airport
When you fly into Toluca International Airport, you'll be flying into the airport's domestic terminal, Terminal 2. Terminal 1 is the airport's international terminal, but since there are currently no international flight routes, it is not in use. Once you've retrieved your baggage, head directly outside to the taxi ranks to travel by car to Toluca (17 km away) or Mexico City (62 km away). There is also a direct coach service available to take passengers into Mexico City.

Toluca is a city filled with history. Some of the most popular tourist attractions are gorgeous buildings like the Cathedral of Toluca, a cathedral built in 1867. The city is also home to a dozen popular museums focused on subjects like fine arts, science, and history.
The Nevado de Toluca National Park sits in southwest Toluca and features a varied topography including forests, mountains, and a volcano. It is a fantastic spot for tourists to hike and mountain bike. At the base of the mountain, there are picnic tables and communal barbeque grills.
