It stops at the National Museum in downtown Tirana. There are car rental agencies at the airport as well and renting a car is certainly a practical way of getting around. Be aware, however, that roads are not always well maintained and large unmarked potholes can cause damage to your vehicle, so drive carefully. The drive to the city takes about 25 minutes depending on traffic.

Terminal Information

The terminal is modern, clean, and bright, although still small enough to navigate easily. There are plenty of stores here, including a duty-free shop, jewelry store, bookshop, souvenir shop, and more. There are also a number of bars and restaurants, including one with an outdoor seating area. A business lounge is also available if you'd like to wait for your flight in extra comfort. While the airport does offer free WiFi, service is spotty at best, and passengers often have trouble connecting to the network.
