Sky Regional flights & tickets

Since Sky Regional operates as Air Canada Express, it might be easy to see it as no different from the larger airline. Regional feeder airlines do retain their individuality, however; Sky Regional is frequently named the friendliest and the most professional among the four feeder airlines under the Air Canada Express brand. With an excellent punctuality record and seamless Air Canada transfers and connectivity, Sky Regional makes travel much simpler.

Sky Regional often promotes the fact that it stays on the cutting edge of technology, and it really does. It was the first Canadian airline to bring electronic flight bag technology for pilots online, for example.

With a fleet of 25 Embraer jets and a flight schedule touching two dozen cities around Canada and the US, Sky Regional is one of Canada's front-line regional airlines. Like many other such large services in North America, Sky Regional operates not on its own, but as regional operations fulfillment for a major airline -- Air Canada, in this case (the Air Canada Jazz regional airline is a separate operation).

Sky Regional's fares tend to be competitive, and you get the best shot at the best fares on Skyscanner.

Why fly Sky Regional

Checking in

Checking in online is easy to do on Sky Regional, but seat selection opens up only 24 hours prior to departure. Selecting your seats online will usually attract a fee if you do it a full day before; it's free when you make your seat selection only a few hours before departure time, however.

Baggage Allowance

Luggage allowance is consistent across the Air Canada Express network -- you get to carry a standard suitcase to check in, and a standard bag to carry on. If you are traveling with a pet, you should know that they are welcome, but you can't keep them with you if you are in a seat on an exits row or a bulkhead row. Pet size restrictions apply.

The in-flight experience on Sky Regional

Sky Regional works hard to make life easier for the passenger. These planes offer both business class and coach, with in-flight entertainment and premium cuisine being complementary on business class. Economy class seats have seat-back touchscreens with extensive in-flight entertainment, too. Each coach seat has a 31-inch seat pitch, which is decent, a recline of 6 inches, and a USB charging. Passengers in coach get complimentary non-alcoholic drinks and snacks. Alcoholic drinks can be ordered, however; you can only pay for them with a credit card.
